Browsing the App Store

Who can do this: administrators and owners.

What it does

The App Store is the catalogue of apps you can add to your organisation. A card shows the app’s icon, name, developer, star rating and price, which reads Free or Paid. Installed marks an app you have. Update marks one where your organisation runs an older version than the current one.

Search matches an app by name and by description. The sort offers Popular, Highest Rated, Newest and A-Z. The View installed only switch narrows the list to the apps your organisation already has.

Before you start

App Store is under Organisation for administrators and owners. Nobody else sees it. Nobody sees it inside a demo organisation, whatever their role.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings, then Organisation, then App Store.
  2. Type into the search box. The list follows what you type after a short pause, and there is no button to press.
  3. Change the sort to Popular, Highest Rated, Newest or A-Z.
  4. Turn on View installed only to see what you already have. Search and sort still apply.
  5. Select a card to open that app’s listing.

Twenty-four apps show per page, with a way to move to the next page for the rest. The installed view has one page. It always shows every app you have installed at once.

With View installed only on, the list can come up empty. It then says No installed integrations found. Lucrii does not fall back to the full catalogue.

Troubleshooting

An installed app can be missing its catalogue details. The page then says above the cards that an installed app’s catalogue entry could not be loaded.

  • Installing an app: Read what an app does on its listing page, then install it through a consent screen that lists the permissions it needs.
  • Managing an installed app: Set up an installed app on its installation page, update it, reconnect it when it asks, or uninstall it.
  • Rating and reviewing an app: Leave one review per app for your organisation, and sort and filter what everyone else wrote on the reviews page.
