Contact locations

What it does

An organisation contact has a Locations card for the sites it trades from, such as branches and depots. Create Location opens a form with a Name, a Description, an Email and a Phone, plus the fields below.

The form also takes a billing address and a shipping address for the site.

A location’s page shows those details and a Linked Contacts card. Add Contact searches your contacts and links one to the site. Select Create new contact at the top of that search to add a missing person in a new tab. To unlink people, tick their rows and choose Unlink from the bar. Locations also have a notes timeline.

On a location, Edit is in the header, and a More Actions menu holds View Audit History, View Bulk Activity and Trash. To delete several locations at once, tick their rows in the Locations card on the contact and choose Delete from the bar. Deleting more than 25 locations or unlinking more than 25 people asks you to type the number first.

Before you start

If you leave the page with unsaved changes, Lucrii asks you to confirm first.

Each field stops at its limit as you type or paste. Creating a contact gives the address limits and how Lucrii refuses a longer value.

Tags on a contact gives the limits on tags.

You cannot undo deleting one or several locations. Lucrii asks you to confirm first.

Contact locations and stock locations are different. Lucrii numbers them separately. An MCP tool that asks for a contact location id refuses a stock location id.

How to use it

  1. Open an organisation contact and find the Locations card.
  2. Select Create Location.
  3. Give the site a name and an address, and leave the status as Active.
  4. Select Create.
  5. On the location’s page, select Add Contact and link the people who work there.

Lucrii shows the Locations card only on an organisation contact. A person has no sites. When the card is empty, it says no locations have been added yet.

  • The contact page, editing and deleting: Open a contact’s page for its details, addresses, linked company or primary contact, media and tags, then change it with Edit or delete it via Trash.
  • Notes on a contact: Post notes and files on the timeline of any contact or contact location, beside the entries Lucrii records there.
  • The contacts list: Search one table of the people and organisations you trade with, and filter it by type, tags, created date or company.
  • Audit history on a record: Read a record’s audit page, the dated list of what changed on it and by whom, with the value before and after each change.
